The Orchestrum Story: From Vision to Reality

Every great solution starts with a real problem. For us at Ciklopea, that problem was the growing complexity of managing translation projects at scale. Back in 2007, we found ourselves searching for a business management solution that truly addressed the unique challenges faced by language service providers (LSPs). When we couldn’t find one that met all our needs, we decided to build it ourselves.

Our first version was modest but practical – a custom-built system designed to streamline our internal workflows and project management processes. What made it special was that every feature came from real-world experience; every function was born of actual needs we encountered while managing translation projects across diverse industries.

As the years passed and we gathered invaluable insights from our own operations, it became clear that this system had the potential to serve a much broader market. In 2014, we took a leap forward by starting Orchestrum as a spin-off project.

By early 2016, Orchestrum had evolved from an internal tool to a comprehensive system that transformed Ciklopea’s operations. The results spoke for themselves, as we witnessed:
